John McBride’s is the oldest of the current GAA clubs in Chicago, having formed in 1956. We have been competitive at all grades, winning Chicago and North American titles at various levels and codes over the course of the clubs history. Our most recent success being the Chicago Senior Championship in 2018. Now in our 64th year, it is an astounding achievement and the effort and commitment of all the club members through the years to keep the club thriving cannot be underestimated. It is a credit to each and every member past and present and we thank you all for what you have contributed in many ways and look forward to many more successful years to come.
With one of the strongest memberships in the GAA community across the United States we are always delighted to welome new members.
It’s All-Ireland semi finals weekend...as strange and all as it maybe for this time of year. But like on many others occasions over the past few decades the McBride’s family are going to be well represented in Croke Park this weekend.
We are super proud of all our former players involved in their respective panels and want to wish them every success. Best Wishes to you all. McBride’s Abú!
